Q: What type of wood is used?
A: The timber used is red softwood European pine and Spruce, from renewable sources, the timber is dry kilned and will provide a very stable and shrink free Cabin.
Q: How long will my cabin take to be delivered?
A: For D.I.Y installation;delivery would be approximately 2-4 weeks. Sometimes depending on season and demand delivery may take a little longer, sometimes we can deliver quicker. We will contact you and arrange a delivery date. Please ensure that 2 able bodied persons are available to assist in off loading upon arrival, they need to be capable of lifting items up to 25kg. To keep costs even lower we only send out one driver and some items are up to 50kg in weight.
A: For professional installation we will bring the cabin with us and we will unload the cabin prior to installation. (you only need to watch your beautiful new cabin appear in front of your eyes.) we can install most cabins in 1 day
Q: What Warranty do I get.?
A: For D.I.Y installation ; All parts are Warranted for 1 year, Warranty is subject to proper installation and normal residential use. Our cabins are designed for a competent DIY assembly by two or more adults.
Before you assemble your cabin please ensure that you have read and you understand all the instructions.
It is rare! that you will recieve any faulty parts or missing parts, due to the efficiency of the manufacturers quality control, however if there are any faults or anything missing please contact us straight way and we will give it our urgent attention and replace and deliver any parts a.s.a.p. Warrenty is for replacements parts only! no refunds will be given after construction of cabin, and all warrenties are backed by the manufacturer .
Once constructed you must treat your cabin straight away,with a wood preserver or colour stain as cabins are supplied untreated to enable you to decorate and finish it to your own individual style and tastes.
The only part of the cabin that is pre-treated are the floor bearers. It is strongly recommended that the cabins are treated within 14 days of installation. and then every 5 years. There is a wide range of timber treatments available like Cupinol, Ronseal that can be purchased at your local diy store.
A: For professional installation not only the parts of the cabin is warranted but also the installation and finished cabin. normal residential use for 2 years, we will also treat your cabin with long lasting wax finish(any other colour finishes can be applyed with prior arrangment)and we recommend new treatment to be applied every 5years.
Q: Do I need Planning Permission for Log Cabins and Garden Offices?
Q: What is the best way to prepare a base for my Log Cabin?
A: A well prepared, flat, level base is essential to ensure a long lasting and stable installation. Buildings should always have a base as large as their floor. concrete is best but quality fitted slabs or decking could be suitable.

Q: We offer a full installation service to installing your cabin We use our own work force. Please contact us with your postcode, telephone number, the cabin and the size you would like, and we will give you a price.

Q: Do you have a showroom.
A: In order to keep overheads low and give you a high quality cabin at unbeatable prices we only have a small
warehouse to store cabins.
We do not have a show site , however we do have two cabins at our home in Nottinghamshire for you to view. This is strictly by appointment only, please give us a call to arrange an appointment
